During a meeting between Cybersecurity Expert Muhammad Asad Ul Rehman and the Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur, Engineer Dr. Athar Mahboob, discussions were held regarding the establishment of a Cyber Security Training Center. On this occasion, Engineer Dr. Athar Mahboob assured full support for the establishment of the Cyber Security Training Center, stating that the need and importance of cybersecurity are increasing in the current era. The establishment of Cyber Security Training Centers is a crucial need of the time to train students of Information Security and Computer Science in cybersecurity, thereby preparing cyber experts and ethical hackers. Most of our daily activities have become digital, and every institution relies on computers, necessitating the need for cyber experts in every institution to protect them from cyber-attacks. Cybersecurity expert Muhammad Asad Ul Rehman highlighted the objectives of Cyber Security of Pakistan, stating that they have provided a platform for the younger generation to gain awareness about modern technology. However, the time has come for the younger generation to acquire skills in cybersecurity and ethical hacking, like other fields, to contribute to securing Pakistan’s data security. For this purpose, all government and private institutions must work together. The meeting also focused on future projects related to Information Technology and Cyber Security.
