The Civil Defence Department conducted a specialized training program for Cyber Scouts under CSOP, the CSR initiative of CS Zone Pvt. Limited.The training focused on essential life-saving and security skills, including bomb disposal awareness, suicide attack prevention, and fire safety techniques. This module aimed to strengthen the Scouts’ capacity to respond responsibly and confidently during emergencies whether natural disasters or man-made threats.
Training Objectives
- To instill strong civil defence awareness among Cyber Scouts.
- To prepare volunteers who can act responsibly during earthquakes, floods, storms, fires, explosions, and terror-related incidents.
- To equip Scouts with the knowledge needed to identify threats, protect themselves, and alert relevant authorities.

Introduction to Civil Defence
Deputy Divisional Warden Malik Zafar briefed the participants about the role of the Civil Defence Department, emphasizing its mission to protect citizens during emergencies. He highlighted the importance of civil defence training for all Pakistanis to ensure a resilient and well-prepared society.
Bomb Disposal & Anti-Suicide Attack
Bomb Disposal Commander Muhammad Iqbal trained Cyber Scouts on:
- Types of explosives
- Suicide attack patterns
- How to identify suspicious items or behaviors
- Precautionary measures to stay safe
- Importance of immediate reporting to authorities
He also displayed real equipment and demonstrated the components used in explosive devices to help Scouts recognize signs of danger.
Fire Safety & Practical Demonstration
Civil Defence Instructor Muhammad Adnan conducted a practical session on fire safety, covering:
- Types of fire
- Correct use of fire extinguishers
- Basic extinguishing techniques
- Safety protocols during fire-related incidents
Scouts practiced handling equipment and extinguishing controlled flames under supervision.
