Cyber Security Awareness Session for Punjab Police (SDPOs, SHOs & IOs)

As part of the Cyber Scouts Program, Cyber Scout Shafqat Waqas, serving as In-charge IT at Punjab Police, conducted a cyber security awareness session for SDPOs, SHOs, and Investigation Officers.

The session focused on digital risks faced during policing and investigations, with special emphasis on the safe handling of sensitive operational and case-related information. The activity supported the program’s objective of strengthening cyber awareness within law enforcement departments.

Purpose

The session aimed to enhance the cyber readiness of police officers by guiding them on secure communication practices, data protection, and recognition of common cyber threats encountered during field operations and investigations.
