Cyber Scouts Training Batch 3 (National Level)

The third batch of the Cyber Scouts Training Program was conducted online from 10 to 13 December 2020. This four-day initiative continued the mission of empowering youth and professionals with essential cyber safety skills. Participants were trained to secure digital identities, prevent online data theft, and respond responsibly to emerging cyber threats.

A total of 260 applications were received from across Pakistan, out of which 90 participants successfully completed the training and qualified as Cyber Scouts.

Training Overview

The training focused on strengthening digital safety awareness among students, government employees, private sector staff, and general digital users. The sessions covered practical skills related to:

  • Securing social media accounts
  • Safe use of online platforms
  • Identifying cybercrime attempts
  • Protecting personal and official data
  • First aid awareness for emergency situations

Training Delivery

Across the four days, the trainers provided practical demonstrations, real-world examples, and safety practices that participants could implement immediately to safeguard themselves and their communities. The inclusion of a First Aid and Emergency Response segment highlighted the importance of preparedness both digital and physical ensuring Cyber Scouts understand their wider role as responsible community members.
