To commemorate World Scout Day (22 February 2020), a diverse assembly of community leaders, public representatives, legal professionals, and social activists shared their insights through national media regarding the CSOP (CSR initiative of CS Zone Pvt. Limited). This collective recognition underscored the Cyber Scouts initiative as a vital response to the growing need for societal cyber awareness.

Community Leaders Acknowledge the Role of Youth in Cyber Awareness

Prominent figures who commended the initiative included Former Chairman District Council Sheikh Dilshad Ahmed Qureshi, Chairperson Bahawalpur Ittehad Mrs. Asia Kamil, Coordinator Agriculture South Punjab Prof. Dr. Midhat Kamil Hussain, General Secretary High Court Bar Association Malik Ayaz Kalyar (Advocate), Mian Khalid Owaisi, Mian Zubair Mehmood Channar, PPP City President Malik Bilal Dhaddi, along with other social and political representatives.

The speakers emphasized that guiding communities on modern digital risks can significantly help reduce cybercrime and encourage the responsible use of technology. They highlighted the importance of structured cyber awareness initiatives, particularly at the grassroots level, where access to digital safety knowledge is often limited.

They further noted that more than half of Pakistan’s population consists of youth, who hold immense potential to contribute to national development through volunteer work. According to the leaders, when young people participate in positive, community-focused initiatives such as Cyber Scouts, they help address social challenges and contribute to building safer, better-informed digital environments for everyone.
