Cyber Scouts Program
The Cyber Scouts Program is a youth-centric initiative dedicated to building a resilient digital community by cultivating a generation of digital safety ambassadors. Through targeted training, young individuals learn to identify emerging cyber threats, promote online safety, and advocate responsible digital behavior within their schools, families, and communities.
A Cyber Scout is more than a volunteer, they are a knowledgeable guide and trusted source of support who helps de-escalate digital risks before they become serious incidents. By taking ownership of their own digital safety and contributing positively to society, Cyber Scouts ensure that technological progress is matched with informed, ethical, and responsible leadership.

What is a Cyber Scout?
A Cyber Scout is a trained individual who helps prevent cybercrime, identifies cyber risks, and promotes safe online behavior. They act as digital safety ambassadors within their schools, colleges, and communities.
A Cyber Scout can be:
- A trained youth volunteer promoting online safety

Cyber Scouts Model
Learning & Awareness
Cyber Scouts receive training on common cyber risks such as phishing, malware, identity theft, scams, cyberbullying, and misinformation. They learn how to detect suspicious activities and understand early warning signs.
Digital Detectives
Cyber Scouts are taught how to spot red flags, analyze unsafe content, and identify potential cybercrime attempts. They help others recognize harmful online behavior.
Community Education
Trained Scouts educate their classmates, teachers, parents, and community members through short talks, peer-to-peer learning, and awareness activities.
Role Models for Safe Behavior
Cyber Scouts lead by example—using strong passwords, maintaining privacy settings, avoiding harmful apps, and promoting respectful online communication.
Participation in Campaigns
